Kettles and Stockpots Limited 5-year Warranty – Le Creuset Canada Inc.
Le Creuset enamel on steel cookware is warranted to you by Le Creuset Canada Inc. to be free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of its purchase. For this 5-Year Limited Warranty to apply, you must follow the care and use instructions provided with the utensil. This warranty covers normal household use only. Please note that in the case of a set, only the faulty item will be replaced.
Damage caused by normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, abuse or commercial use.
Scratches from knives and sharp utensils, or stains, discolouration, corrosion or damage from overheating to the interior or exterior of the pan.
Consequential damage is expressly excluded from this warranty.
This 5-Year Limited Warranty covers the original retail consumer purchaser of the utensil, or a consumer who receives the utensil new and unused as a gift from the original retail purchaser. Coverage terminates if a covered consumer sells or otherwise transfers the utensil (this warranty is provided only to consumers, and all express and implied warranties to non-consumers are disclaimed).
This 5-Year Limited Warranty does not extend any implied warranty provided by any provincial or territorial law to a consumer. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from province and or territory. (Some provinces and or territories do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you).
Defective cookware will be replaced free of charge or replaced by a similar product or one of equivalent value if the product is no longer in production, upon return of the damaged piece to Le Creuset Canada. Replacement with the same colour cannot be guaranteed.
This 5-Year Limited Warranty is made solely by Le Creuset Canada Inc., and no other person or entity. This 5-Year Limited Warranty is the only express warranty provided for the utensil. For help and advice, call the toll-free helpline: 1-866-666-6162 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org

KETTLES AND STOCKPOTS
As with all metal surfaces in contact with high temperatures, please take caution when handling Le Creuset kettles and stockpots heated on the stove.
Enamel on Steel Kettles
Remove all packaging and labels. Wash the teakettle in hot, soapy water. Rinse well and dry thoroughly.
Le Creuset enamel on steel kettles can be used with all heat sources, including induction.
When filling the kettle with water, only fill water above the first layer of holes on the interior of the spout (see diagram on box for more information).
For efficient and safe boiling, always use burner a similar in size to the base of the kettle.
We encourage you to use an oven mitt or silicone Cool Tool™ to avoid burns or injuries from heat or hot steam.
Do not bang the teakettle down onto a stove’s surface or work surface. Repeated banging may damage the exterior enamel.
Do not place the kettle on the heat source without having water in the kettle. Never leave a teakettle simmering for long periods on any heat source; it may boil dry, which can result in overheating and damage to the base and enamel.
Do not leave water standing in a kettle when it is not in use. A buildup of scale may occur and reduce efficiency.
Before pouring from your teakettle, remove it from the burner and ensure the handle is in the upright position.
Le Creuset proudly uses heat-resistant plastic on our handles and whistles.
Never place in the dishwasher. To clean, simply hand-wash the kettle with hot, soapy water and dry thoroughly. A gentle kettle de-scaler may be used periodically if required.
Enamel on Steel Stockpots
Remove all packaging and labels. Wash stockpot in hot, soapy water. Rinse well and dry thoroughly.

For efficient and safe boiling, always use a burner similar in size to the base of the stockpot.
Do not place a stockpot on a heat source without having liquid in the pot. Do not allow a stockpot to boil dry.
Never place a stockpot in the dishwasher. To clean, simply hand-wash the stockpot with hot, soapy water. Rinse well, and dry thoroughly. Do not submerge stockpots in water – the water may become trapped inside the vessel and can lead to rusting.
